WINDERMERE, Fla. – A sinkhole that displaced two families in a Windermere neighborhood appears to be caving back in, just months after being filled.
Local 6 was at the house on Indian Deer Road on Monday where caution tape had been put up again around the hole, which left a gaping hole estimated to be more than 100 feet across and 50 feet deep about 3 feet from the home.
County workers filled the hole back in May, but not before it appeared to expand to about 2 feet from the home.

The Orange County Building Department helped the families move to relatives' homes for temporary housing. The county won't enforce preventative measures to keep the sinkhole from growing because they say it's not on public property and they responded to the sinkhole originally.
