Years before even being of-age to get a real job, the average child in America will make $1,360 per year.

According to a recent article by TIME magazine, a survey by Vouchercloud.net shows kids under the age of 10 in America rake in $113 a month from their parents in the form of "allowances, bribes, rewards and gifts."

The coupon site found that more than 70 percent give their children money on a regular basis, 61 percent say they give their kids rewards for good behavior and 55 percent give them money so they will behave.

Fewer than half the parents who say they give their children money say it's in exchange for the children doing chores or helping out around the house, TIME reported.
