Report: Casey Anthony may pay for rights to sell life story
Anthony would rather pay $25K to prevent selling life story in bankruptcy court
Casey Anthony may pay $25,000 to settle a dispute in her bankruptcy case over the rights to sell her life story, WTSP reports.
Anthony, who was acquitted of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in July 2011, owes about $792,000 owed to several dozen creditors. She filed for bankruptcy protection in January 2013.
Meininger presented a motion in April trying to receive permission to set up a potential auction for Anthony's life story. WTSP-TV reports Anthony opposes the selling of her story and would rather pay $25,000 to prevent it from being sold.
The judge has not ruled on the life story yet.
