The SEC Network has reportedly hired former Florida quarterback and Heisman winner Tim Tebow as a college football analyst.
ESPN reports Tebow will be an analyst for SEC Nation, the network's traveling pregame show that will go to a different SEC campus each week.
The show starts Aug. 28, 2014.
On Jan. 6, Tebow will make his first appearance as an ESPN analyst during pregame coverage of the 2013 VIZIO BCS National Championship, according to ESPN.
The Southeastern Conference and ESPN have signed a 20-year agreement through 2034 to create and operate a multi-platform network which will launch in August 2014.
ESPN said Tebow's role in the show won't keep him from continuing to pursue playing opportunities with the NFL.
