Volusia County Beach Patrol officers made a dozen rescues on Friday and only one rescue on Saturday because of rip currents.
Officials said the threat of rip currents along the coast was there, but rescues were very minimal despite the crowds that came out to enjoy the warm weather.
Officials said Cannonball jellyfish were washing up in areas like New Smyrna Beach, but no one was treated for stings.
Officials said the jellyfish are not terribly venomous, but do effect people in different ways.
Officials are warning swimmers to be careful and to swim with the current if you get caught in a rip current.
