The Subway sandwich shop on the 4500 block of South Semoran Boulevard was robbed early Wednesday morning, according to the Orlando Police Department.
At 4:10 a.m., a culprit, described as a black male around 57 years of age, weighing 230 pounds with dark hair, facial hair and wearing a blue shirt and a white bandana over his face, robbed the Subway.
Subway's manager said the man demanded she put the money from the cash register in the black bag he was carrying or he would shoot her. A weapon was spotted inside the bag, but the manager wasn't sure if it was a gun or knife.
The culprit then demanded the manager to lay on the floor and count aloud. It is unknown how much money was stolen, according to an Orlando Police Department report.
The manager was the only person in the store at the time.
This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS.
