Driver turns himself in after fatal Georgia wreck
52-year-old Canadian citizen charged with hit-and-run
A 52-year-old man has turned himself in to Marietta police to face charges from a deadly chain-reaction crash.
An attorney for Dannie Albert Mondor told WSB-TV that Mondor turned himself in Tuesday afternoon at the Cobb County Jail.
He surrendered after police located his recreational vehicle in Cape Coral, Fla., and contacted him.
Investigators described Mondor as a Canadian citizen who owns property in Cape Coral. Police say he's been charged with vehicular homicide and hit-and-run.
Police said the RV struck a Toyota Camry on Interstate 75 northwest of Atlanta Saturday and kept going. The Camry struck a Prius, which hit the median and flipped. Killed in the chain-reaction crash was 40-year-old Bradley Braland of Winter Garden, Fla.
