Scattered storms remain in forecast for Central Florida

Wet ride home on tap for Orlando-area students

ORLANDO, Fla. – As the rest of Central Florida students, including those in Orange County, head back to school, rain chances will be increasing for the afternoon bus stop.

"A front in northern Florida will increase rain chances," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "Also, sea breeze storms will also develop into Monday afternoon."

Rain chances remain at 40 percent through Wednesday.

The chance for rain will decrease slightly by Thursday and Friday, to 30 percent.

High temperatures will reach 93 degrees on Monday.  Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.

Highs will reach 94 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
