Regginald Jones should be considered armed, dangerous, deputies say

Regginald Jones is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in Brevard County.

MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – Brevard deputies are warning citizens to be on the lookout for a murder suspect who they say should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Authorities are searching for 34-year-old Regginald Jones of Merritt Island, who is accused of shooting and killing 36-year-old Samuel Sweeting around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Jones has an active arrest warrant on a first-degree murder charge.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Brevard County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit at 321-633-7162 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS. Potential informants can also visit crimeline.org or text "crimeline" along with the tip to 274637. 

Information submitted to Crimeline is confidential and the tipster could be eligible for a reward.
