Neighbor hears gunshots, spots wounded man in yard, deputies say

Orange County deputies say victim died at hospital

PINE HILLS, Fla. – A death investigation is underway in Pine Hills after a neighbor reported hearing gunshots and saw a man lying in the grass outside a home, Orange County deputies said.

The shooting was reported around 3:40 a.m. at 6014 Denson Drive in Pine Hills.

Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jeff Williamson said the man, who was in his 20s, was taken to Health Central, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified late Wednesday afternoon as Stanley Previlon, 21.

Williamson said deputies are looking for two men who were seen running away from the area. A detailed description was not provided.

It's not known what led to the shooting, deputies said.

The shooting happened soon after another man was found with a gunshot wound near Lake Lucerne in downtown Orlando, police said.

Williamson said investigators and Orlando police are trying to determine if the two shootings are connected. No other details were released, however.
