ORLANDO, Fla. – Authorities are investigating after a 19-year-old man was shot Friday evening in the parking lot of a Publix, Orlando police said.
The shooting happened inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the Publix in the 3800 block of South Semoran Boulevard at 7 p.m.

Police said the suspected shooter got out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
The 19-year-old victim then fled in his vehicle and went to the IHOP restaurant at 795 S. Semoran Blvd., where the police were called, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital. Police said he is in stable condition with two gunshot wounds.
Preliminary indications are the incident may be drug-related, police said. There were two active crime scenes Friday night, and detectives were en route to conduct a follow-up investigation.
The suspect, who police said is still at large, is described as a dark-skinned man in his early 20s with dreadlock-style hair and a stocky build.
