ORLANDO, Fla. -

A woman is recovering after being shot in the Audubon Village Community clubhouse parking lot.

It happened Sunday afternoon when Orange County deputies say a woman in a gold Lexus was waiting on an acquaintance to arrive with money.

Deputies said a black Expedition arrived with a red car and soon after shots were fired.

Neighbors said a ton of families were at the pool of the time, many heard the gunfire.

The woman escaped to another part of the neighborhood as the other cars left the area. Sunday evening, deputies were at a vacant home on the 7400 block of Radiant Circle where the red car was found.

This is also the home where deputies found the body of a fisherman last month. At this point, deputies said this is just a coincidence.

Investigators say they do have a person of interest but are not identifying them at this time.
