Silver Alert issued for missing Palm Coast man

Lionel Maloney, 79, suffers from diabetes, dementia

PALM COAST, Fla. – Deputies are searching for a missing man who is diabetic and suffers from severe dementia.

According to officials, Lionel Maloney, 79, left his Palm Beach home around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Maloney is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200-250 pounds and has white hair. He was last seen wearing a tan, short sleeve T-shirt, tan pants and sandals.

Maloney is driving a black 2007 four-door Lexus SE 350 with Florida tag number 850YAE.

Deputies said they believe Maloney has less than $50 on him and may be traveling to the Washington, D.C. area or New York.
