The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando celebrated the 100th anniversary of Mother's Day by building a home for a single mom, Saturday.

At the conclusion of their Women Build event, Habitat for Humanity handed over the keys to Sherall Leo, Saturday morning.

For the last two months, as part of Habitat of Greater Orlando’s annual Women Build fundraiser, nearly 300 Central Florida women gathered to build the three-bedroom, 1,150-square-foot home. In addition to work on the construction site, the women raised more than $160,000, officials said.

The home, which was built on Daly Street in Orlando was dedicated at 10 a.m. Saturday morning as part of their mission to build decent and affordable housing.
