ORLANDO, Fla -

SinkholeAssistant.com's free service to Local 6 viewers has expired on Monday afternoon.

SinkholeAssistant.com's programmer Conrad Cooper said there were unanticipated problems with the software including any address real or bogus showing sinkhole indicators within a one mile radius of the selected address after Local 6's report.

The problems have been resolved.

The $19.99 fees were refunded on Thursday and then the company decided to allow free service until Monday afternoon, when the free service expired.

The site is the first sinkhole database ever made public. The staff spent endless hours assembling and researching engineering and insurance reports spanning the last 20 years.

The data is based an estimated 35,000 documents.

Some viewers questioned the fees. The company had already discounted the regular $39.99 fee to $19.99.
