WINTER PARK, Fla. - An army helicopter pilot returned home on Wednesday and was greeted with a surprise parade through the streets of downtown Winter Park.

Army Lieutenant Charles Nadd, 24, got the surprise of a lifetime, and people who know him say no one deserves it more.
"Anything that he sets off to accomplish, he does it with zest and gusto - all the while thinking about how he got there and the people that influenced him, and always with a grateful heart," said Georgia Parker, who was Nadd's 8th grade English teacher at Trinity Prep.
Nadd just got back from an 8-month tour in Afghanistan. His fiancée picked him up from the airport and drove him right into the parade.
City officials say the parade was put on by Budweiser, and Nadd, a Blackhawk helicopter pilot, is part of a documentary they are producing.
"How exciting, Winter Park loves a good parade, and this is just a great opportunity to recognize someone who has done incredible work for our country," said mayor Ken Bradley.
Bradley says Budweiser will be making a commercial from the footage they shot, and we may see that commercial during the Super Bowl.
