Southwest plane makes emergency landing at Orlando International

No one injured, officials say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Southwest Airlines plane made an emergency landing Wednesday at Orlando International Airport because of  a blown tire, airport officials told News 6.

The Boeing 737, carrying 149 passengers, departed at 2:20 p.m. from Orlando en route to Milwaukee. The plane returned to Orlando less than 20 minutes after taking off and make an emergency landing on runway 10.

The emergency landing was prompted by a blown tire, airport officials said.

No one was injured during the incident, according to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
