SpaceX targeting Father's Day launch

Launch moved due to satellite issue

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX is now targeting a Father's Day launch of commercial satellites from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, according to Local 6 News partner Florida Today.

The launch had been planned Thursday evening. The delay resulted from an issue with one of the six Orbcomm Inc. satellites.

Before the 8 p.m. Sunday launch, SpaceX plans to test-fire a Falcon 9 rocket's nine main engines around 5 p.m. Thursday. However, the forecast that afternoon is poor, potentially delaying the test.

The mission was delayed from early May by a helium leak on the rocket.
