A masked man carrying a handgun entered the Subway at 954 E. Altamonte Drive around 10 p.m. Tuesday and robbed the restaurant, according to Altamonte Springs police.

No one was injured.

The culprit made off with an undetermined amount of money.

In March, a man wearing a Spider-Man mask and another masked man robbed a 7-Eleven on Lake Destiny Road in Maitland.

The clerk told police a rifle was pointed at her and one of the gunmen slammed her to the ground.

Police said the man wearing the Spider-Man mask in both robberies also wore a hunting-type hat and made similar statements to the clerks.

Detectives will be checking surveillance video at nearby businesses in the area throughout the day.
