Storm causes delays, cancellations at OIA

ORLANDO, Fla. – The crippling winter storm that pounded the south is moving north, as more than a foot of snow falls in parts of the northeast Thursday.

Thousands of flights have been grounded at Orlando International Airport, where the storm has already delayed or canceled at least 100 local flights.

Meanwhile, in Central Florida, a blustery day is ahead.

"Sunshine breaks out into the afternoon as temperatures hover in the low and mid-60s," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges, who added that winds will gust near 30 mph.
