Stray showers roll through Central Fla.

Rain chances for Wednesday about 10 to 20 percent

ORLANDO, Fla. – A few stray showers are expected to roll through Central Florida this Tuesday evening. If you see one they'll pour for a few minutes, then roll away.

The low for Tuesday night in Orlando will be 70. The high on Wednesday will be 87.

Rain chances for Wednesday will be about 10 to 20 percent but will shoot up on Thursday and Friday, as tropical moisture surges out of the Caribbean.

From here, Saturday also looks pretty wet with a rain chance of 50 percent.

The main weather focus will be Invest 97. Right now, this system has only a 30 percent chance of becoming a tropical system in the next 48 hours.

But after that, most models take it to the north Gulf of Mexico by late Saturday.

If it becomes a named storm, it will be T.S. Karen. Either way, it will be the reason for more rain as the weekend approaches.
