SunRail delayed after crash involving train

ORLANDO, Fla. – SunRail service was delayed after a possible collision between a train and a car in downtown Orlando on Monday afternoon.

The incident was reported west of the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Orange Avenue. Officials said in a tweet that the SunRail train P322 was delayed by 20 minutes due to police activity.

The train was later cleared and moved, but northbound trains were delayed 40 minutes.

News 6 helicopter Sky 6 flew over the scene as police were on both sides of the tracks with the train stopped.

Orlando Fire Department said no injuries were reported in the crash.

No other details were immediately available.
