Surveillance video released in fatal Casselberry salon shooting

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – Casselberry police have released surveillance video on Tuesday in the shooting at a hair salon that killed three women and injured another last week

Police said the video, which was taken from the Metro PCS store next to Dominicana Hair Salon at the Casselton Corner plaza off State Road 436, shows 36-year-old Bradford Baumet walking by the store front and into the beauty salon.

The video shows that Baumet is in the salon for 1 minute and 6 seconds. Metro PCS customers heard gunshots and run up to the window in the video. Baumet is then spotted running out of the salon and passing the Metro PCS again.

Investigators say Baumet shot four women with the stolen gun. Marcia Santiago, 44, the ex-girlfriend and Baumet's target, is in serious condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Gladys Cabrera, 52 ,a customer at the salon, Noelia Gonzalez-Brito, 28, an employee and salon owner Eugenia "Mari" Marte were killed.

Also Tuesday, Baumet was linked to a homicide investigation by Orlando police after police found 28-year-old Roberto Colon dead in his Gatlin Avenue apartment.

Police say Baumet used Colon's car in the events leading up to the shooting. It's not clear if Baumet is responsible for Colon's death.

Friends and family gathered at the salon Tuesday to remember the women. Baumet died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound just after the shooting.
