OAK RIDGE, Fla. -

A suspicious device reported at an Orange County bank forced officials to close a roadway for more than an hour.

The bomb squad was called Friday afternoon to the Bank of America on Sand Lake Road in Oak Ridge.

Sand Lake Road was closed in both directions at Chancellor Drive.

Officials later determined the device was a purse and it was deemed safe.

No other details have been released.
