TAMPA, Fla. – Crews are battling a two-alarm fire in Tampa Friday night at a recycling facility, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said.
The fire was first reported around 5 p.m. at Trademark Metals Recycling near the Port of Tampa and U.S. 41.
There are no injuries reported, but some streets in the surrounding area have been closed.
Southbound 50th Street from Port Sutton is closed due to the fire fight, officials said.
Residents reported seeing the billowing fire for miles.
