Target pulls clown masks amid nationwide scares

Store says masks removed out of sensitivity

ORLANDO, Fla. – If you're shopping for a clown mask this Halloween, you'll have to scratch Target off the list.

The retail chain has removed "creepy clown" masks from its stores and website.

Target said the decision was made out of sensitivity in light of the creepy clown scares spreading across the nation.

Several states, including Florida, continue to deal with threats and pranks related to people wearing clown masks.
