Teacher caught in Orange County brothel bust steps down

Lake Brantley chemistry teacher steps down before being fired by school board

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A Seminole County chemistry teacher has resigned after he admitted to using his work computer to hire prostitutes.

Lake Brantley High School teacher, Chris Dalland, admitted to the accusation in November after his name appeared on a client list for a notorious alleged brothel.

Dalland stepped down on Tuesday rather than being fired by the school board. District officials learned Dalland was on the prostitution client list in October, and immediately put him on paid leave and a few days later, removed him from his teaching duties.

Dalland has not been charged with any crime.
