Shropshire and Maddox then went to their cars, located about 100 to 200 feet from the players, and Maddox fired shots into the air, police said.  Shropshire then fired shots at Maddox's vehicle, and they both drove off, according to police.

Officers were then notified that a woman had been struck by a stray bullet at 840 Derbyshire Road, directly across from the park.

The victim told police that she heard what sounded like gunshots as she reached for the door handle to look outside. She said felt a burning sensation in her left knee and heard glass breaking. The bullet entered her knee and exited, striking a picture that was on a coffee table, according to police.
