Teens broke into Daytona Beach high school to have sex, police say

Duo also vandalized vending machines over 'beer munchies'

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Two Daytona Beach teens have been arrested after police say they broke into a high school to have sex and vandalized vending machines.

Daytona Beach police say Vincent Ewell and Lindsay Longbottom broke into Mainland High School to have sex because Longbottom didn't want her boyfriend finding out.

Police said the duo found an open classroom on the third floor and had sex. Then Ewell rode the elevator to the first lfoor, used the bathroom and broke into three vending machines because they had the "beer munchies."

A motion alarm alerted the police who pulled the couple over as they were trying to drive out of the school's parking lot.

According to the report, the damage to the vending machines is more than $1,000.

Ewell and Longbottom have been charged with burglary. Ewell has been additionally charged with criminal mischief.
