JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is working to locate three escaped juvenile inmates.

JSO said Luther Davis, 16, Derek Browley, 16, and Justin Silva, 15, battered staff at the Department of Juvenile Justice facility on Lanie Road around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police responded and an immediate search was conducted with a K9; however, they have not been located.

Police say this was a planned escape. The three inmates were able to overpower staff members and take their keys. The inmates opened a secure door, ran from the building, jumped a fence, and left on foot.

If you see these inmates, call 911. Anyone who has any information in reference to these escaped inmates is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email at JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.
