Tickets went on sale on Thursday for performances at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

Construction crews have four months to finish up the center before show time, Nov. 15.

Doors are scheduled to open Nov. 6.

Right now, president Kathy Ramsberger admits they will be working until the day they open, but Thursday, a crowd got a taste of what's to come with a speech by Jon Secada and a Jazz performance by Nneena Feelon.
