Elin Nordegren, the ex-wife of golfer Tiger Woods, graduated with honors from Rollins College on Saturday.
College leaders named Nordegren "2014 Outstanding Graduating Senior" for earning a 3.96 GPA, single parenting two children and working for charities that support children in the foster care system.
Nordegren enrolled at Rollins College in 2005 to study psychology.
"I was 25 years old, I had just recently moved to America, and I was married without children," she told the audience of graduating seniors. "Today, 9 years later, I'm a proud American, I have two beautiful children, but I'm no longer married."
Nordegren's marriage to Woods ended shortly after his infamous car crash outside his Windermere home in 2009.
Woods took a year off from playing golf to focus on his marriage, which ended with a divorce one year later.
She was awarded $100 million in their divorce settlement.
