Tebow: 'It could be something in my future'

ORLANDO, Fla. – Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow said he could explore politics in the future if it's something he cares about, according to website Politico.

In an interview with the Golf Channel's Dave Feherty, Tebow did not rule out a future run for office.

"I don't know -- it could be something in my future," Tebow said, according to the excerpt from Politico. "If it's something I care about, possibly."

In addition to his prowess on the field, Tebow is also known for his religious fervor. The quarterback has been seen kneeling to pray so often during games, the act became a trend known as "Tebowing."

Tebow has also made his position known on at least one controversial subject. In 2010, an anti-abortion ad featuring Tebow and his mother caused some controversy.

As for the 2012 presidential race, Tebow has yet to publicly endorse any candidate.
