ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -

The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating a fire that damaged several cars on a tractor trailer Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters from Orange County and Orlando Fire departments were called out to the fire just after 12:30 p.m. on Interstate 4, at the westbound off ramp to Orange Blossom Trail.

Smoke could be seen from several miles away.

Firefighters said they were able to get the flames out, but several cars being towed on a hauler were destroyed.

It is unknown what caused the fire.

The off ramp to Orange Blossom Trail remained shut down for most of the afternoon.
