DUNNELLON, Fla. -

A CSX train derailed in Marion County early Friday, but no one was injured, according to fire officials.

Marion County Fire Rescue said a Levy County dispatcher called at 4:42 a.m. reporting the derailment, which took place about a mile south of Highway 328 at U.S. 41 in Dunnellon.

Nine train cars derailed, spilling coal in a wooded area, but there were no injuries, fires or leaks, officials said.

The railroad company was cleaning the scene, deputies said.

No other details were released.
