Trial delayed for man in Brevard County deputy slaying

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The trial for the man accused of shooting Brevard County Sheriff's Deputy Barbara Pill has been delayed.

Judge Morgan Reinman granted a request filed by state prosecutors asking to delay the January 28 trial date.

The state argued that Bradley's defense attorneys recently disclosed experts in the case and they would need more time to prepare.

In court, the defense argued they disclosed information in a timely fashion, but had no problem with delaying the date.

A new trial date hasn't been set.
