Invest 97 has a 50 percent chance of becoming a named storm over the next five days.  If it strengthens, it will be named Karen.

For now impacts on the weekend look minimal from this storm but it is a developing situation. Check back with Local 6 for more updates.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, partly cloudy skies and a light breeze from the Northeast are expected. The low on Wednesday night in Orlando will be 69 and the high on Thursday will be 89.

High temperatures will reach the upper 80s in the Orlando area, and the chance for rain is just 10 percent.

By the end of the week, however, rain chances increase.
