Turtles rescued from frigid water
Volunteers dived into the water off Cape Cod to help save sea turtles threatened by a cold snap
A batch of sea turtles will soon head to the warmer climate of Florida after being rescued from a bitter cold spell up north.
A group of volunteers and staff from the New England Aquarium jumped into the frigid water off Cape Cod to help save the turtles' lives.
Just like humans, sea turtles are also prone to hypothermia. The reptiles were at risk because of a drastic temperature drop.
Now, the turtles are recovering at the New England Aquarium. Once they are nursed back to health, they'll make the trip to Florida.
