A rare two-headed dolphin has washed up on a beach in Turkey.

A gym teacher by the name of Tugrul Metin was on vacation when he found the carcass on a beach in Dikili, which is near the city of Izmir along the Aegean Sea, The Associated Press reported.

The conjoined cetacean is a rare occurrence, according to scientists.

Researchers at Akdeniz University told the AP they would like to put the remains on display.
