Ludwig, who was convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child younger than 11, fled his home of Massachusetts in 2011. Deputies say he cut off his ankle monitor before moving to his Melbourne address of 2452 Saint Swithin Lane. He has been living in Melbourne as an unregistered sex offender since then.

Florida Today reports that the agents searched his house, and seized his computer and other "media equipment."

Ludwig is being held without bond at the Brevard County Jail.
