A witness who was in the vehicle with the victim told deputies that they were driving down SR 473 behind a black car and they tried to pass the vehicle, but it sped up to block them from getting around, according to a report.

The victim then got out of his vehicle at the traffic light at the intersection of SR 441 and CR 473 and an argument began between the other driver and the victim, deputies said.

Deputies said the other driver then intentionally ran over the victim, who was airlifted to Orlando Regional Hospital.

Detectives are searching for a black vehicle, possibly a Mazda Z26 with the left passenger door painted red and dark-tinted windows.
