OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - As deputies continue to search for a man exposing himself to young girls, one of his victims spoke with Local 6 to warn others that he may be more dangerous than a simple flasher.
The 15-year-old victim thinks she was targeted because she was walking alone. Now, she's too scared to be identified, and always walks in pairs, because she fears the suspect lives nearby and could come back.
The latest three cases happened within a mile of each other in a neighborhood just west of Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee, but deputies are investigating to see if he may be linked to other flashings.
"I was scared. I was in shock. I didn't know what to do. I started walking really fast," said the victim as she recalls crying at her friend's house moments after she ran from a flasher.
She helped deputies make a sketch of the man she said tried to lure her to his car and exposed himself.
"He ended up pulling the car back, he acted like he was going to get out of the car and start chasing me and then he drove off," she said. "He could have taken me in the car and I don't know what would have happened to me after that."
It's the third time in just a few weeks that deputies said the man has targeted young girls in the neighborhood. So far, none of the victims have been injured.
"He looked very angry," she said. "He's dangerous and he's obviously doing it to other girls because he did it to my friend and he did it to my sibling."
She said the victims have one thing in common, each were walking alone.
"Honestly, I'm not going to feel safe until they catch him," she said. "They need to catch him and they need to put him where he needs to be and that is in jail."
Deputies released two sketches of the suspect, but Local 6 uncovered other very similar sketches of a flasher from unsolved cases near the area last year. Deputies are investigating to see if it's all related.
The suspect has been seen driving two different vehicles; a dark green 4-door sedan, possibly a Honda, or a white 4-door sedan.
