PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – A video captured near Patrick Air Force Base appears to show a large shark swimming surprisingly close to the shoreline.

Jason DeBoer shared the video of the shark with Local 6 News partner Florida Today.
DeBoer spotted two sharks swimming close to the beach on Saturday. The video shows the larger of the two in the water around 2 p.m., just after low tide.
DeBoer said both sharks swam close to the shoreline for more than an hour.
A 9-year-old boy was recently bitten by a shark in a nearby area. He was OK but underwent surgery for his injury.
Over the weekend, a 10-year-old girl was bitten by a shark off Cocoa Beach.
"It was scary," said a beachgoer. "I decided to come to the beach, catch a tan, and I see a little girl getting attacked. It's horrible man. I hope she's alright."
The girl was taken to Cape Canaveral Hospital and is expected to be OK.
