Video: Orange County Animal Services kitten gets unique name

'Turkey' caught on video gobbling her food

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A kitten up for adoption at Orange County Animal Services has found a way to stand outside of the pack.

The 3-month-old kitten, nicknamed "Turkey," was caught on video scarfing her food down, while "gobbling" like the Thanksgiving bird.

Animal Services workers say they're guessing that 'Turkey' picked up the gobbling sound to stand out since black cats have a harder time being adopted.

A day after Animal Services released the video, Turkey was adopted, along with two of her brothers and sisters.
