BROOKLYN, N.Y. -

The biggest star on the Saint Joseph's University basketball team may not ever touch the court.

Coach Phil Martelli's grandson caught the eyes of the camera operators working the Atlantic 10 conference championship on Sunday.

The 4-year-old, who is also named Philip, stood behind his grandfather and mimicked his actions while wearing a suit jacket and a tie that dropped down past his knees.

Little Philip constantly crossed his arms and had a stern look on his face as he watched the action. At one point, the boy grabbed a whiteboard and a red marker and started drawing up a play -- just like grandpa. He even got a little testy with refs and the mascot, flailing his arms in disgust.

Saint Joseph's University won the A-10 Championship, beating Virginia Commonwealth University to secure a bid in the NCAA Tournament.
