The crash happened around 6 a.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and State Road 451.

According to Apopka police, a red Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Danny Holcomb, of Leesburg, ran a red light and struck a black Dodge Nitro.

Holcomb was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and was listed in critical but stable condition.

The driver of the Nitro, Tonya Shamsid-Deen, of Altamonte Springs, and her passenger were taken to Florida Hospital Apopka with minor injuries.  They were later released.

The video shows the light turning red and remaining that way for more than 25 seconds when the crash occurred.

Apopka police said the crash remains under investigation and charges, if any, against Holcomb have not yet been determined.
