PORT ORANGE, Fla. - The evacuation at Atlantic High School in Port Orange has been lifted, according to Volusia County School District.
Fire officials said students were being moved to other areas of the school while the smell of smoke in one of the hallways was investigated.
School officials say students have been returned to their classes, and the cause of the smoke smell was a malfunctioning air handler.
