Warmup continues in Central Florida

Temperatures heat up for Halloween in Orlando area

ORLANDO, Fla. – The warmup in Central Florida continues Wednesday with high temperatures reaching the mid-80s.

The high in Orlando will hit 85 degrees, with coastal showers possible.  It's expected to be dry inland.  Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s

Even warmer temps will be on tap for Halloween.

"There will be slight rain chances at 20 percent by Thursday afternoon as temperatures heat into the upper 80s Thursday and Friday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Changes are ahead for the weekend, however.

"A front this weekend brings a 30 percent chance for rain on Saturday and 20 percent on Sunday when high temps drop nearly 10 degrees," Bridges said.

Also, don't forget the time change and be sure to "fall back" early Sunday morning.
