Warmup hits Central Florida

Slight rain chances for Halloween in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – What a difference a week -- or even a few days -- makes.

A warmup will hit Central Florida this week, with high temperatures on Tuesday reaching 85 degrees in Orlando, and it will be breezy.

"East-northeast winds will gust near 20 to 25 miles an hour this afternoon," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Coastal areas from Flagler to Brevard will see some rain showers, but no rain is expected inland.

High temperatures warm to near 90 degrees on Halloween and Friday.

"Slight rain chances roll in for the weekend, with temperatures warming only to 77 degrees by Sunday," Bridges said.
