Warrant issued for sex offender in Osceola County

Man failed to register change in address, cops say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A felony warrant has been issued for a sex offender who failed to register his address change.

Osceola County Sheriff's detectives obtained the warrant for Jose Luis DeJesus-Pomales on Monday for failing to report name or residence change and failing to report vacating permanent residence.

It is required by Florida law that all registered sex offenders report a change in address within 48 hours of moving, and based on this information the felony warrant was issued after deputies realized Pomales no longer lived in his Kissimmee address.

Police say Pomales is a 5-foot-2-inch white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He was convicted in 1995 of a lewd/lascivious offense in New Jersey.
